Free Astronomical Viewings in the Piedmont Triad


Cline Observatory on the GTCC campus is open for free telescopic views
every Friday night (weather permitting), beginning at 7:00 p.m.
  (November-February.  During summer months viewing begins 30 minutes after sunset.)

There is no charge for public night viewing and the observatory is open to anyone wishing to attend.
No reservations are necessary, and there are no limits on the number of attendees.

The Greensboro Astronomy Club holds regular observing sessions at the Cline Observatory on the first Friday of the month to view the stars, planets, galaxies, and other celestial objects.



You can also join the Greensboro Astronomy Club at the Natural Science Center in Greensboro every third Friday of the month at 7:30pm.  These meetings are free and open to the public.
