Bagge Merchant & Garden Shop, with plants that are as local as you can get.

October 6 from 8am-2pm.  

Plants sold are unique 
and are often not found at local garden centers.

This is a perfect time to plant perennials, shrubs and fruit trees. They still have plenty of Figs, Catawba Grapes, Carolina sweet shrubs and much more. Please stop by to fill that one place in your yard that needs something for the spring. These plants will be gone soon!

Learn about the American Chestnut tree, the blight-resistant Dustan Hybrid, and High Rock Farm Chestnut Orchard.  Sample chestnut flour cake.  Roast fresh chestnuts! Presented by Richard Teague, owner of High Rock Farm, Rockingham County.  High Rock Farm products will be for sale.  Limited Space.

Location: Frank L. Horton Center, 924 S. Main Street
Add herbs for flavor and nutrition—learn how much to use, when to add, which to use, fresh or dried.  Presented by Elizabeth Morgan, Herbalist and Owner of Dandelion Soap & Herb Shop, Walkertown.  Dandelion Soap & Herb products will be for sale.

Bring lavender into your kitchen as a seasoning, for vinegars and marinades, to flavor conserves, liqueurs and jellies, for cookies and ice creams, to decorate cakes, and much more!  Presented by Sandra Sarlinga, Manager of Sunshine Lavender Farm, Orange County.  Sunshine Lavender Farm products will be for sale.
