High Point-- Those Were the Days: A 1900 Visit with Grandma Payne. High Point Museum, 3-4:30pm. Ruby Allred, as her own Grandma Payne, a local farm wife from circa 1900, describes her daily life and displays many of the objects (washboard, kerosene lamp, flat iron, etc.) and pictures from her time. Free and open to the public
