FREE Mebane: EXHIBIT AT MEBANE ARTS CENTER
Enjoy an exhibit with works from Nancy Garrett and Loretta Partin. Both artists enjoy working with acrylics. Nancy loves to build texture. She leans more toward abstracts and organic shapes. Loretta also works with texture and enjoys the variety of way acrylics are forgiving allowing for blending and paint over.   http://www.cityofmebane.com

The Forsyth Audubon Chapter meeting will feature Walker Golder, Deputy Director of Audubon North Carolina, with a program about his organization's coastal sanctuaries for nesting colonial water birds. FREE Dobson: Open Mic Night at The Coffee Bean Music Hall
Open mic for any and all who want to come out play. If you're not a musician don’t worry you can still come out and listen and hang out. There will be no cover charge for admission. We will be serving our full menu of beer, wine, and coffee. Sign up for your three song or 15 minute slot at the bar. Performers will play in order of sign up. Please, no obscenity. All ages welcome.

FREE Southern Pines: CHINA NATIONAL ORCHESTRA & RALEIGH SYMPHONY

Enjoy a unique concert experience, featuring the world's best orchestra in traditional Chinese music on stage with one of North Carolina's best orchestras in...China National Orchestra and the Raleigh Symphony in a joint concert. This concert is free thanks to our sponsors: Town of Aberdeen, Harris Blake, Moore County Chamber of Commerce, Moore County Schools, Village of Pinehurst, Town of Southern Pines, Art Swanson, and Thermal Metal Treating, Inc..  Admission is FREE, but tickets are required.

FREE Gboro: Family Night: Imaginary Landscapes and Mystical Places
Mythical places, time travel and ancient civilizations are recalled in the evocative drawings and sculptures of artist Diana Al-Hadid, on view in the McDowell gallery. Enjoy this special evening event for families and create an imaginary landscape, take a tour with WAM’s Teen Art Guides, or participate in a musical experience with Chad Eby and students in the UNCG Jazz program. Activities take place throughout the evening.  No registration required. FREE Wentworth: Homemade Music Concert
Local and area musicians will once again take the stage at Rockingham Community College for the 15th annual RCC Musicians’ Guild Homemade Music Concert.  This year’s lineup includes Chords and Strings, a dulcimer ensemble that got its start in an RCC continuing education course; Troublesome Creek, a “cover” band that includes RCC instructor Anne Marie Freeman on vocals; perennial favorite Ed Dodson, who entertains on bluegrass guitar, mandolin and bass; and Campus Tradition, a popular string band comprised of current and retired RCC staff and faculty.  It’s a great way to brighten up an evening in February.  Info Phone: (336) 342-4261

FREE Dobson: Spring Festival at Shelton Vineyards
We will host our second annual Spring Festival with free admission and free tours and tastings! Local artisans and craftsmen will be here with their hand made items!
Sparkling wine bar inside retail shop with our recipe drinks available for purchase.

FREE Dobson: Corvette Auto Show
Display your beautiful Corvette on the grounds of Shelton Vineyards! This will be our fourth time hosting Corvettes on the property and we are expecting a great turn out! Come on out and join us as we check out the variety of modern and vintage Corvettes placed along the property.  The winery will be open for tours and tastings. Our Harvest Grill and Bello Vino restaurants will be open for lunch and dinner. The Harvest Grill will also be grilling up hotdogs and hamburgers at their outdoor food tent during the show. We will also be offering free hayrides through the vineyard to be enjoyed by all. Hope to see you then.

FREE Dobson: Camaro Show at Shelton Vineyards
Come out to try some great wine and see a display of the latest generation of Chevrolet Camaros on our beautiful grounds. "The newest generation Chevrolet Camaro rocks. This will be a truly unique showing of the next generation of modern muscle car.  The winery will be open for tours and tastings.
